The 2017 Annual General Meeting of the Standard Motor Company Limited,

trading as the Standard Motor Club, will take place on Sunday April 9 at the

British Motor Museum, Banbury Road, Gaydon CV35 0BJ.

The British Motor Museum is on the B4100 near M40 junction 12. Members

and their guests will be directed to our meeting room where stickers will be

distributed. These entitle you to free admission to the museum, conditional on your attendance at the AGM. The museum has a restaurant.

Programme for the day:

From 10am Assemble for the road run

11am Depart on road run. (Organised by Steve O’Hara.)

2pm Annual General Meeting.

Refreshments will be available.

A member of the company is entitled to appoint another person as his proxy to exercise all or any of his rights to attend and to speak and vote at the meeting provided that a notice which complies with the section of the present articles headed ‘Content of Proxy Notices’ is delivered to the secretary Lynda Homer no later than seven days prior to the meeting.

The agenda for the meeting, the minutes of the 2016 AGM and a request for

nominations for Committee posts will be published in the March issue of the

Standard Car Review.

Standard Motor Club AGM on Sunday 9 April 2017 at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon, Warwickshire. On arrival, all delegates should park in front of the Museum, in the marked area for Standard Motor Club and enter via the Museum Entrance. You will be directed to Lecture theatre 1. Club members attending the AGM will be given a car club sticker for complimentary access into the Museum and also 20% discount in the café - this discount is not available on already discounted items/wine. Tea and coffee will be available from 14.00 for members attending the AGM and the meeting will start at 14.15.
