The 2018 Annual General Meeting of the Standard Motor Company Limited,

trading as the Standard Motor Club, will take place on Sunday April 8 at the

British Motor Museum, Banbury Road, Gaydon CV35 0BJ.

The British Motor Museum is on the B4100 near M40 junction 12. Members

and their guests will be directed to our meeting room where stickers will be

distributed. These entitle you to free admission to the museum, conditional on

your attendance at the AGM. The museum has a restaurant.

Programme for the day:

From 10 am Assemble for the road run at Oakes Farm Shop, Balsall Street (B4101),

Balsall Common CV7 7AQ. The cafe opens at 10am.

11 am Depart on road run. (Organised by Steve O’Hara.)

2 pm Annual General Meeting.

Refreshments will be available.

A member of the company is entitled to appoint another person as his proxy to

exercise all or any of his rights to attend and to speak and vote at the meeting

provided that a notice which complies with the section of the present articles

headed ‘Content of Proxy Notices’ is delivered to the secretary Lynda Homer no

later than seven days prior to the meeting.

The agenda for the meeting, the minutes of the 2016 AGM and a request for

nominations for Committee posts will be published in the March issue of the
